Company Policy

Our policies for products, services, and customer commitments

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Overview

Xcraft Kitchen & Bath is committed to clear communication, quality products, and dependable customer service. This Company Policy explains general expectations for quotes, orders, product selections, delivery, installation, and customer support.

Project-specific details will be listed in your written quote, invoice, purchase order, contract, or other signed agreement. If a written project document conflicts with this general policy, the written project document will control.

Quotes and Project Approval

Quotes are prepared based on the information available at the time of request, including product selections, measurements, layout details, project scope, supplier pricing, and availability. Prices and availability may change until an order is approved and processed.

Customers should carefully review all final designs, layouts, measurements, finish selections, item lists, accessories, and written details before approving an order. Once products are ordered, fabricated, assembled, or scheduled, changes may not always be possible.

Measurements and Site Information

Accurate measurements, appliance details, plumbing locations, electrical locations, wall conditions, and site access information are important for a successful project. When customers provide measurements, drawings, photos, or site details, they are responsible for making sure the information is complete and accurate.

If Xcraft Kitchen & Bath provides measurement, design, templating, or installation services, the scope and responsibility for those services will be described in the written project documents.

Changes and Cancellations

Change or cancellation requests should be made as soon as possible. Once an order has been submitted to a supplier, placed into production, assembled, fabricated, or scheduled for delivery or installation, changes may be limited and may result in additional charges.

Special-order, custom, assembled, fabricated, or supplier-ordered products may be non-cancellable or subject to restocking, handling, labor, or supplier fees.

Returns

Many products we provide are custom, assembled, special-order, fabricated, or selected specifically for a customer project. These items are usually not returnable, including custom cabinetry, assembled cabinets, bathroom vanities, closet systems, countertops, custom finishes, and special-order materials.

Some unopened stock items may be eligible for return if approved in advance, returned within the allowed time period, undamaged, in original packaging, and complete with all parts and accessories. Approved returns may be subject to restocking, handling, shipping, or supplier fees.

Labor, delivery, installation, templating, design, and service fees are generally non-refundable once the service has been performed.

Cabinetry and Wood Products

Wood is a natural material. Differences in color, grain, mineral streaks, knots, and texture are normal and part of the character of real wood products. Wood may also expand or contract slightly with changes in temperature and humidity.

Small movement lines, minor finish variation, and small joint changes may occur over time and are not always considered defects. Engineered materials, veneers, laminates, and painted finishes may also show normal color, sheen, or texture variation.

Closet Systems

Closet systems are often built from furniture-grade board, laminate, hardware, and custom-sized components. Normal variations in color, texture, sheen, edge banding, and hardware alignment may occur. Custom closet systems are made for a specific space and are generally not returnable.

Countertops

Natural stone: Marble, granite, and quartzite can vary in color, veining, movement, pitting, fissures, polish, and pattern. These natural variations are expected. Seams may be required and are not invisible. Customers may be asked to view and approve slabs before fabrication.

Quartz: Quartz is an engineered surface made with natural quartz, resins, and pigments. Color, pattern, and tonality may vary between samples, slabs, and production lots. Hot items should not be placed directly on quartz; use trivets or heat protection.

All countertop materials should be cleaned and maintained according to the manufacturer's care instructions.

Sinks and Accessories

Sinks, hardware, organizers, and accessories should be used and maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Stainless steel sinks may show water spots or surface marks with normal use; wiping dry and using non-abrasive cleaners can help preserve the finish.

Countertop Templating and Site Readiness

Countertop templating may require a scheduling fee or deposit. If the project moves forward, that fee may be credited as described in the written project documents. If the project does not move forward or the site is not ready, the fee may cover travel, labor, and scheduling costs.

Before templating, cabinets should be installed, secured, level, and ready for measurement. Required sinks, appliances, faucets, cooktops, and project details should be on site or confirmed before the appointment. Rescheduling policies will be listed in the written project documents.

Payment Terms

Payment schedules vary by product and project type. Deposits, progress payments, balance payments, or payment before ordering, fabrication, delivery, or installation may be required and will be listed in the written project documents.

Past-due balances, returned payments, collection costs, or related fees may be handled according to the written agreement and applicable law.

Delivery, Pickup, and Storage

Delivery details, access requirements, timing, and fees will be confirmed before delivery when possible. A responsible adult should be present to receive, inspect, and sign for delivered products.

Additional charges may apply for stairs, long carries, tight access, special handling, rescheduling, failed delivery attempts, or storage beyond the agreed pickup or delivery window.

Please inspect products at delivery or pickup. Visible damage should be noted right away, and concealed damage should be reported as soon as possible with photos. Installed, modified, or altered products may be considered accepted, except for valid warranty or service claims.

Installation Services

Installation services, when included, will be described in the written project documents. Customers are responsible for providing reasonable site access, clear work areas, and timely decisions when approvals or selections are needed.

Some work may be performed by qualified installers, trade professionals, or subcontractors. Any installation warranty, service follow-up, or correction process will be handled according to the written project documents and applicable law.

Warranty and Customer Support

We stand behind the quality of the products and services we provide. Product warranties may be provided by manufacturers or suppliers, and warranty coverage varies by product. Our team will help review warranty information and guide customers through the appropriate support process when concerns arise.

Warranty coverage does not usually include normal wear, misuse, improper maintenance, water damage, heat damage, unauthorized modifications, improper installation by others, or natural material variation unless stated otherwise in the written warranty.
